Been a While!

So sorry it has been a while, but I'm back! I did have a little scare a few weeks ago with some hypoglycemia and my anemia, but it's all under control now. Since I do have the low lying placenta, I will be getting another ultra sound on November 18th to determine whether a c-section or pre-term labor will be an issue, so pray for that one! Other than that, I am feeling MUCH better a I am resting alot. Thank you for all your prayers and support and baby Blake will be here before we know it! I believe these were belly shots from about 21 weeks...I think?!?!?!? I am now 27 weeks so it is MUCH larger:)

IT'S A BOY!

So we found out yesterday that we will be welcoming another little boy on January 30th! Cayden is going to have a little brother and mommy is going to have a house full of boys!! The baby is healthy and measuring on track weighing 9oz.

I did find out that my placenta is "low-lying" which means I will have to have another ultra sound between 28-32 weeks. This basically means I may go into pre-term labor or I will have to have a C-Section. They are just going to monitor and watch and make sure there is no bleeding.

I finally had Bevan take a picture of the growing lil Hebert a couple of weeks ago, so here it is!! This is at 16 weeks pregnant and now that I'm 18 weeks, it's definitely larger!

Back to Work

I went to the doctor yesterday and have the green light to go back to work. I have not had any more spotting, but still cramping. She still wants me to take it easy and really watch everything I do. We are very thankful everything is ok and the baby is healthy. The heartbeat was 162 yesterday, so very strong! We go back on September 8 at 8:30 am for ultra sound and follow up with Dr. Hurtado!

BED REST

So I started spotting and having cramps about a week and a half ago and it was quite a scare. Over this past weekend it was the worse it has ever been. I went in to my doctor yesterday and turns out I had a slight tear on my cervix that occurred during my first trimester. Thank GOD!! The heartbeat was strong at 158 and my cervix was nice and closed. I was crying when I heard that heart beat! I had NO problems with Cayden at all, so this one already appears to be a handful, but I am still ready to meet he/she! I am on bed rest for 2 weeks and will go back to the doctor at that time. Staying off my feet and resting is the best thing for me at this point, so pray that we make it through this!!

Well I went to the doctor last week and got the 2nd ultra sound, blood work and doctor visit. It was a very long day, but the baby looked great and had a heartbeat of 160! We could see the hands, the feet, everything! Well, we could not determine whether it was a boy or girl but we find that out on September 8th! Can't wait for that!!

I did get a call today from my doctor that my blood count was extremely low so they are putting me on an iron supplement and also some kind of antibiotic for a bacterial infection. She is also asking me to take it easy and rest, rest, rest!! It's hard to do that at work when your male boss is still asking me to pick up boxes for him:( She informed me that if this does not get better it will lead to bed rest and I DO NOT want that!!

Anyway, I go back for my next check up on August 18th so I will keep you all posted!!

Bun in the Oven

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday and it is confirmed, I am pregnant w/ baby # 2! Bevan and I are SO very excited and cannot wait to meet the new addition, even though it is quite a ways off. I am only about 4 weeks and go back to the doctor on June 15th!
